These terms cover use of mapleflowplumbing.com and the plumbing services provided by MapleFlow Plumbing, 12-71 Vulcan St, Etobicoke, ON M9W 1L4.
Quotes and pricing
Prices shown on this website are starting rates in Canadian dollars, before HST, and are indicative only. Your binding price is the written quote you approve on site. Once approved, that figure does not change unless you request additional work, or unless a hidden condition is discovered that we could not reasonably have seen — in which case we stop, explain, and re-quote before continuing.
Call-out fee
Diagnostic and emergency visits carry an $89 call-out fee. It is credited in full against the repair when you approve the work. If you decline the repair, the fee covers the visit and the written findings.
Warranty
Labour is warranted for two years on repairs and five years on complete installations, from the date of invoice. Parts and fixtures carry the manufacturer's warranty. The warranty does not cover damage from freezing, misuse, third-party alterations, foreign objects in drains, or pre-existing conditions we identified in writing and were not engaged to correct.
Scheduling and cancellation
Please give us four hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a booked appointment. Emergency dispatch cannot always be cancelled once a van is en route; if we have already arrived, the call-out fee applies.
Access and site conditions
You agree to provide safe access to the work area and to disclose known hazards such as asbestos, mould or unstable structures. We are not responsible for pre-existing defects, or for damage arising from concealed conditions that could not be identified without opening the structure.
Payment
Payment is due on completion unless financing has been arranged in advance. We accept cash, debit, major credit cards and e-transfer. Overdue balances accrue interest at 2% per month.
Permits
Where a plumbing permit is required, we obtain it and attend the inspection. Permit fees are itemised separately on your quote.
Liability
Our liability for any claim is limited to the value of the work performed, except where limiting liability is not permitted by Ontario law. Nothing here limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002.
